Our Story

Solstice Farm started as a simple family dream.

In 2022, we found our piece of land and fell in love with the idea of building a life that felt slower, more connected, and amongst nature. It didn’t take long for that vision to take hold and begin shaping the way we wanted to live as a family. The following summer, we built our home and planted the first trees in our apple orchard, beginning a journey that has come to mean so much to our family.

With our two young sons, we made the choice to slow down and spend more time together, homeschooling, caring for our animals, and learning how to live off the land. Our days are filled with simple, meaningful rhythms, tending the garden, gathering eggs from our chickens, and growing flowers and fresh goods for our future farm stand to share with our community.

One day, as our orchards grows and matures we want to develop the farm into a small cidery.

As this life has taken shape, so has our desire to open it up to others. We were granted farm status in 2025 and that has allowed us to focus on agro tourism for the farm. We’ve been busy developing the farm so we can welcomes people in. From intimate weddings, seasonal markets, educational workshops, wellness gatherings, and community events, Solstice Farm is a place to connect, celebrate, and slow down. We hope to share our journey as farmers and inspire others to grow and live sustainably.

The farm is located at the base of the breathtaking Beaufort Mountains and showcases the most beautiful mountain views. Our land has become so much more than we ever imagined. It’s where our boys run barefoot, where we gather with family and friends, and where meaningful moments naturally unfold. Every corner reflects the care and love we’ve poured into it, and we are truly honoured to open our farm to others and be part of such special days ahead.
